Toonie East Wins Numeracy Award

At a special assembly recently Mrs Kerrie Ikin, school education Director for The Hills, awarded our school with a regional numeracy award as part of literacy and numeracy week.

Director Ikin said that Toongabbie East Public School students had every right to be proud of the award, as it wasn't given out lightly, based as it was on our independent National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) results for the last two years.
