Cultural Groups

Local Elder and Charlie from Koori Kinnections will be running Aboriginal cultural groups every fortnight in the middle session. The cultural groups will be running every second Friday, sessions will go for 45 minutes. 

The Aboriginal culture group will be aimed at enhancing students’ confidence and sense of identity through participating in culturally appropriate learning activities.  Students will be learning about forms of Aboriginal art, dance, stories and working on how each child can feel confident and proud to be who they are. These sessions won’t be representative of any one Aboriginal group, but an overview of some of the many amazing components of the Aboriginal culture that students can be proud of.
